Respond Search and Rescue welcomes applications from Dedicated, Motivated and Proud individuals, who want to give back to their community, and have fun while doing it, for positions within Respond SAR. We have many different jobs available, which can be broken down into three main categories: Frontline, Support, and Administration.
Frontline: These positions are out at community events, on searches and in the public eye. Members will be providing medical care, communications and public safety services at events, participating in search and rescue operations and attending training and meetings monthly. People who are interested in our frontline member positions should be 18+, Class G Licence, Standard First Aid and CPR C, and willing to donate 60hours a year.
Support: These positions are out at community events, on searches and in the public eye.Members will be providing support to frontline and administration membership. At events and searches support team members will help with logistical operations, setup/takedown of equipment and movement of supplies. People who are interested in our support member positions should be 18+, Class G Licence, Standard First Aid and CPR C (preferred), and willing to donate 60hours a year.
Administration: These positions are what keep Respond going. Members in administration will be finding new events, arranging fundraising initiatives, planning monthly meeting/training nights. Members of the administration will work closely with the Respond directorate to ensure the continued success of our organization. People interested in our administration member positions should be 18+, Class G Licence, Standard First Aid and CPR C (Preferred), Strong computer skills (preferred) and willing to donate 60hours a year.
